 Report on Academia (SCIENTIA) 2025–27 August 

Report by the Department of Natural Science (August 26, 2025) 

The Department of Natural Science hosted its Academia program, "Scientia," onAugust 26 2025, Tuesday,  at the Multipurpose Hall. The event, themed "Nutrinova," successfully combined scientific knowledge with practical awareness of nutrition, highlighting the dedication and teamwork of the department. The program began with a calming and inspiring atmosphere, initiated by an announcement from Jicksy M. J., followed by a prayer led by Lena Lixon and Anusree Jayasankar. Helen Biju then delivered a warm welcome address, emphasising the program's significance. The central theme, "Nutrinova," focused on the vital role of nutrition in daily life. Insightful presentations were given by Malavika K. S., Lijitha N. V., Punnya P. S., Sreeranjini K., Krishnapriya K. M., and Mary Magthilin, covering various aspects of the topic. The discussions were enhanced by a visually engaging PowerPoint presentation created by Athulya Bajuband and Nithya Das, which added clarity and depth. The event's smooth execution was ensured by coordinator Lishma Silvester. The creative design of the event brochure was handled by Lakshmipriya K. M., who also, along with Mary Magthilin, provided excellent support for ICT and Waves. The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks from Deepthy Theresa, who acknowledged the efforts of all contributors and expressed gratitude to the audience. The gathering ended with the National Anthem, instilling a sense of pride and unity. Overall, "Scientia 2025" was an informative and inspiring event that showcased the Department of Natural Science's commitment to promoting scientific literacy and practical awareness.
