Report: Organized by Mathematics Option

 

The Academia (ANEKA-3) program, organized by the Mathematics option, took place on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. The event began at 9:30 AM in the Multipurpose Hall of Navajyothi College.

The program started with an announcement by Merin Varghese, followed by a soulful prayer led by Chelsea Maria and Lakshmi M. This set a positive and spiritual tone for the event. Krishna K J then delivered a warm welcome address, highlighting the occasion's significance.

A major highlight of the day was an innovative program titled “Journey Through Numbers.” This session was creatively presented using a PowerPoint presentation, accompanied by songs and dances, making it informative and engaging. During the songs, student-teachers danced forward, each wearing either a number on their dress or around their head to represent natural, whole, rational, irrational, and negative numbers. Izabel Joseph and Gayathri Sasi delivered the presentation, which was designed by Tessa Mary and Shelly Johnson, and nine others student-teachers’ whose lively participation made the session enjoyable for everyone.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Shahina M N, who expressed sincere gratitude to all participants, organizers, and attendees. The event ended with the singing of the National Anthem, fostering a sense of unity and patriotism. The event brochure, thoughtfully prepared by Anagha Babu P, added to the professional and organized nature of the program.
