The Academia (SUPERNOVA) 2025-2027, organized by the Social science option, took place on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The event commenced by 9:30 AM in the Multipurpose Hall of Navajyothi College Of Teacher Education for Women under the guidelines of principal Dr. Sr. Gigi Paul and academia in charge, Dr. Sr. Mary Trini. The program was convened by student coordinators Alna Antony and Anjana Pradeep. The program began with an announcement by Shirin Shahanas, followed by a prayer led by Aneeshya, Seethalakshmi and Annlit, which created a spiritual atmosphere.

 

                                                         Subsequently, Amrutha Anil delivered the welcome address, underscoring the significance of the occasion. A major highlight of the day was an innovative program titled “Climatic Change and its Social Dimensions”. This session was creatively presented using a PowerPoint presentation making it informative and engaging Nandana, Saraswathi, Ashitha, Sejina and Bhadra delivered the presentation, which was designed by Annlit and Thapasya. This session provided the audience with the scientific phenomenon occurring in daily life. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Jisha Johnson who expressed sincere gratitude to all participants, organizers, and attendees. The event ended with the singing of the National Anthem, fostering a sense unity and patriotism.
