Report: Organized by Mathematics Option

The Academia (ANEKA-4) program, organized by the mathematics option, took place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The event began at 9:30 AM in the Multipurpose Hall of Navajyothi College.

The program started with an announcement by Gayathri Sasi, followed by a soulful prayer led by Shelly Johnson, Mariya Babu and Izabel Joseph. This set a positive and spiritual tone for the event. Shahina M N then delivered a warm welcome address, highlighting the occasion's significance.

A major highlight of the day was an innovative program on “Intellectual Impairment.” The session was systematically presented through a PowerPoint presentation, which combined clarity of content with interactive elements to enhance comprehension. K gave the introduction to the topic, setting the stage for the subsequent activities. To further illustrate the theme, a skit was incorporated, depicting the lived experiences of an intellectually impaired student. The role of the child was enacted by Tessa Mary, while Mariya Babu portrayed the mother, Shahina M N assumed the role of the teacher, and Shelly Johnson, Izabel Joseph, and Anupama Roy represented fellow students. This dramatization provided a realistic and empathetic perspective on the challenges faced by individuals with intellectual impairment, thereby enriching the academic value of the presentation. The PPT was presented by Merin Varghese, Krishna K J and Anagha Babu P, and designed by Izabel Joseph and Chelsea Maria. The collective participation ensured that the session was both impactful and pedagogically significant.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Sreelakshmy K U, who expressed sincere gratitude to all participants, organizers, and attendees. The event ended with the singing of the National Anthem, fostering a sense of unity and patriotism. The event brochure, thoughtfully prepared by Lakshmi M, added to the professional and organized nature of the program. The ICT and waves were handled by Chelsea Maria and Divya Mariya C J, and Nithya Das and Lijitha N V respectively.
